Our Law Firm, Hwaum, was commissioned by the Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP) to conduct a research project for the enactment of the Act on International Scientific and Technological Cooperation, which was successfully completed in August 2023.
The research examined the necessity of enacting legislation governing international scientific and technological cooperation, the current status of international cooperation, and existing laws and prior research concerning international cooperation in the fields of science and technology. Based on consultations with relevant experts and government ministries, the research resulted in a draft bill on international scientific and technological cooperation.
