On May 1, 2025, Jae-kwon Jung, our main attorney at Hwaum Law Firm, was appointed as the inaugural Auditor of the National Gangwon Specialized Science Museum, which is scheduled to open in Wonju in the second half of 2025. Attorney Jung will serve a three-year term as an executive officer, overseeing audit and related duties.
The National Gangwon Specialized Science Museum will be the first national science museum in Korea dedicated to the fields of medicine and life sciences. The museum is scheduled to open in Wonju in the second half of this year.
The museum is expected to provide science education infrastructure not only to the local community but also to the broader central inland region of Korea, while bringing new momentum to the development of advanced industries centered on medical devices.
